25 @ 25: Boots and Blossoms

In mid-March I went to the fantabulous Longwood Gardens.  While there I took quite a few pictures (about 500 by the end of the day).  Here is one with my boots near early Spring blossoms.

25 @ 25: Fallen

Most portraits feature the subject’s face.  If you’ve been following my 25 @ 25 project, you know my self-portraits generally do not feature my face.  (If you’d like to find out the story behind 25 @ 25, check out the first post here)  That trend continues with this post.  I notice that I tend to feature my legs and shoes…we do so much with them!

About two weeks ago, I fell on a gravel path.  Thankfully, no bones were broken, but the fall left a pretty gnarly bruise.  I took a picture of the injury as a reminder that pain is worthy of art.  It’s also a reminder for me to slow down!

25 @ 25: Red Lips and Leather

Decided to go a bit rocker for this shoot.  I got a leather jacket not too long ago and was eager to break it in.  What better way to do that than wear it for a photoshoot?  This is definitely my favorite self-portrait thus far.

25 @ 25: In Rainbows

A few years back, I bought a scarf from my friend Stephanie at a craft fair.  I wear this scarf every winter and I still get compliments on it.

To accentuate the brightness of this scarf, I decided to utilize color accents in this week’s 25 @ 25 photograph.

25 @ 25 – Simple Storyline

I’ve seen photo essays and photo series telling a story, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Pretty simply progression (thought I’d start small).
