Another week, another set of photos and interviews. (To learn more about my 100-day project, check out this blog post.)
Enjoy!
Day 7: Frankie
“Finishing things. When you take on something and you finally complete it…Like this coffee shop would be something cause it’s just an idea and you finally got everything in place and then it’s there.”
Day 8: Kristin
“Delight, to me, is coffee!”
Day 9: Corey
Me: So, Corey, what does delight mean to you again? I have my recorder on now.”
Corey: “Magic [The Gathering] and coffee. Tabletop games. Light roast.”
Day 10: Steph
Me: “What did delight mean again?”
Steph: “Enjoying things with people that I love…just different activities and going places and doing things ‘cause it’s one thing to do things by yourself but it’s a completely different experience when you’re bringing your family and your friends to do things with you. So turning 30 is not a huge deal because I get to celebrate with other people.”
Day 11: Katie
“To me, delight means things in their simplest forms. And for me, that typically means nature. Just being outside, in nature, with the plants and usually the animals…just simplicity, things in their rawest form.”
Day 12: Kevin
“[Delight is] when things are as they should be.”
I love this series, Michelle! Keep it up 🙂
Yay, thanks so much, Yuko!
Love these photos. I’m doing 100 days of black & white drawings on 3 X 3 inch canvases. On my Instagram: @gardeningB (#100daysofSharpie) & periodic updates on my blog: https://gardeningb.com
Oh how fun! Thanks for checking out my work. I’ll look at your project. And apologies for the delayed response. For some reason, WordPress only showed this comment now.
